We visited the cabela drive, wheeling, wv applebee grill on 7/8 arriving at 1:30pm.
Ordered our drinks (non-alcoholic) and food. Took a long time to get our drinks and the restaurant was not busy.in fact seemed to have more than adequate staff. The manager was seen a couple of times, roaming the dining room and we assumed that he was being efficient. Our food order took even longer to arrive. The food was good and filling. We ordered dessert which was to be ice cream sundae (gluten free) and strawberry cheescake shooter. After waiting for 1/2 hour for dessert we got up to pay bill and leave. The person at the door took our bills and money and said he would find our server. It took 20 minutes of standing at the front door in disgust until we got our change. The manager was sitting at a table at the back of the restaurant talking with wait staff, in a very casual way. My husband went back and relayed to him what was going on and he made no effort to expedite the situation, very casually said "I'm sorry
for your wait" We finally got our change and needless to say we took the tip we had left. Our serial # is 079975113
