Attempted to re-finance a mortgage held by Bank of America on investment property at 401 Pine Log Roadm Beech Island, SC 29842. I paid the required $1000.00 up front by credit card for a "Forensic Audit Report". When the Forensic Audit Report indicated numerous "violations" they assured me that they could proceed and get the mortgage rate reduced for another $1000.00. This I provided with a credit card.
When I realized that nothing would be done I demanded a full refund of the $2000.00 in a letter to them dated July 25. They declined.
