This person posted a Craigslist ad offerring a Huntington Beach vacation rental. I paid them $560 as a down payment on a 5-day rental to Southern Commerce Bank, Holder: Derek T. Bryant, Routing #: 063112919, Account Number: 3608034714. I am assuming this was a scam because neither the renter, Kara Brewster or her secretary Derek T. Bryant have been returning my phone calls, emails, or text messages. Derek's phone number (334) 258-4088 no longer exists and Kara's email address is [email protected]. Please help! 5 college students' hard-earned vacation savings may have gone to waste.
