He lied about having a vasectomy and his true marital status and got caught. DNA test that read 99.9999996% could not have made it any clearer. He even tried to pursuade another person to declare paternity without taking the DNA test. Good thing the other person thought otherwise!
His then wife divorced him so that all of his assets could be shifted under her former name, just before the settlement hearing took place. After the settlement hearing, he then re-married and has bought new cars, and a new home since the summary judgement was ordered, yet refuses to pay his obligation to his child. Currently, his wages have been garnished however, past medical bills have accumulated that require payment, which he refuses to pay his court-ordered share.
Now Floyd "Smoke" Smith is avoiding being served by the State of Hawaii Child Support Enforcement Agency due to being in contempt of a Summary Judgement for medical payments/insurance and child support.
He is currently in arrears in the sum of $5,418.87, in child support and has incurred another $1,699.97 in arrears. He is also $350.00 more in arrears for medical support.
The State of Hawaii was trying to serve him by certified mail in order to execute an administrative order/right to a hearing at his last known mailing address which is a P.O. Box. The letter was returned to the agency unclaimed by him.
Ironically, his employer has a website which consists of a wanted poster for deadbeat dads. Maybe they should put their fellow co-worker on it.
