Like everyone else, I signed up for a free account and was "liked" by a female profile. I "liked" her back (unable to message with my free account). The user then sent ME a message saying they were interested in my profile and photo. So I paid for membership and responded. I responded within about 5 minutes, and the user remained online.
I received no further communication from her.
When I complained, the response I received was that female profiles with photos receive so many responses that they can't possibly have the time for me, I should try contacting someone without a photo. Except that hardly holds water when "SHE" contacted ME.
I'm not proud of the fact that I fell for this blatant scam. Lord knows I avoided it at countless other sites trying to pull the same thing. But because xdating manages to hire better phony message copy writers, this one actually sounded legit for once. Stupid me.
I am likely going to dispute the credit charge if they do not offer a refund.
