I went to to the HEB in Bee Cave, TX on the evening of June 27th after my work shift with two of my friends. I go to this store all the time, as it is conveniently located right by my workplace and close to my home. We were debating on ice cream, but did not select any, much less TOUCH the ice cream freezer door.instead we opted to just get some energy drinks and be on our way. I had to run to the bathroom, so I went in there briefly, came back out and met up with my friends so we could pay for our items and leave. We pay, walk out of the store, and two police officers corner us and accuse us of not having paid for our items. I'm sorry but WHAT? They demanded to look in our purses and whatnot, and said they would "check the cameras." I'm sorry, but really, I am deeply offended. Sure, theft is a common thing, but I don't understand how any of our/my activity was seen as suspicious. Going to the bathroom perhaps? An heb employee even followed me in there to listen to me urinate and watch me wash my hands. I found of profusely offensive. I'm severely bothered and refuse to go there again. Never before have I felt so uncomfortable in a store before. I've been a loyal customer with them since moving here five years ago, and I'm so disgusted by their false accusations. Don't use their bathrooms! They'll call the police.
