I was searching online for a short term loan and filled out an application with several different companies. Today I check my bank account online and see that Loan tree advances deducted $30 from my account (I know, why did I give out my checking account information?). I call the phone number listed and speak with Sara who told me that the $30 is for a processing fee to get a loan with their company. I DID NOT receive a loan, nor did I agree to have this amount deducted from my checking account. I explain this to Sara several times. Finally, after mentioning that I am going to talk to my attorney and file a complaint against their company, she said she will submit a refund request and to allow 15 business days for it to be debited back to my account. What a scam!!
