The following are events that have taken place at Cedco, Inc. Amazing:
1) H.G. Houston and Donald Hiett calling an employees wife a "cunt" to her face and then making disparaging remarks about her family.
2) Donald Heitt referring to one foreman as "the ".
3) Calling a female dump truck driver a "fat " and firing her for no reaon.
4) Allowing a shop Superintendent to refer to employees he perceives to be homosexual as "" and then spread rumors to everyone that will listen about that employee. This is also the same superintendent that allows narcotics to be sold from his shop. The best part: he is still employed there.
5) Filing a lawsuit against a Landscape Superintendent and his assistant for alleged proprietary infringement. During the same period, dispatching Lisa Vega - Lattimore the Safety Director, to Hirschi Masonry to gather information on their bidding / customer lists. Vega - Lattimore, the daughter of Cedco owner Cindy Davis-Fox, retained the same title and position before and after the Hirschi Masonry stint. Amazing: suing Global Landscape for engaging in the same practice that Cedco themselves engage in. Can we say Hypocrisy?
6) Paying Walter Dempsey $ 22.00 / hr and providing him a trailer to live in rent free. His only responsibility is driving around Anthem in his truck smoking pot and stealing gas from the anthem yard. Once in awhile he may tell you to put on your vest and hard hat. How can you justify that expenditure? Things that make you go hmmm.
7) Allowing superintendents to submit time cards that have ghost employees (i.E. Get paid but don't perform any work). The most egregious case involves the Concrete Division paying a guy $ 13.00 per hour to drive around and sell drugs for the foreman and superintendent. They were lining there pockets with drug money and collecting a cedco paycheck.
8) The policy of Payroll deduction "Cedco Loans" that many equate to hush money for the many violations of Labor and DOT laws that Cedco engages in.
9) Having hard working employees that truly cared about your company, hung out to dry with drug addictions. This compliments of your do nothing approach to the drug dealing Blue Diamond Yard Shop. You guys have taken people that were nice, generous, and hard working individuals and turned them into monsters thanks to the reel em in approach that Chris Emery allows in his shop.
Plenty of free lines at first, then get em hooked, and then charge em. The employees are left broke and addicted. Thanks Cedco, Thanks. I hope you guys sleep better at night knowing that you have ruined the lives of some truly wonderful people that actually gave two shits about your company. Amazing: the drug dealing mechanics and Shop Superintendent are still employed there.
