This company, LLC Publishing Corp. (www.LLCPublishing.com) is using illegal and deceptive practices.
They are advising their customers that they can change the county location of an existing LLC, complete the legal publishing in the *new* county, and then change the county back again after the publishing is done. The problem is, this is ILLEGAL pursuant to the NY Dept. Of State. There are now hundreds, if not thousands, of people in NY with LLCs that are invalid. If and when these LLCs get involved in litigation, their owners are in for a shock when they realize that their LLC was suspended for not publishing properly.
Moreover, the owners of this company are signing affidavits (making legal statements under penalty of perjury) that the LLC was published in the proper county. This is FALSE. The owners are going to have some answering to do to the NYS Attorney General, if and when an investigation is started.
Unless and until they stop doing business this way, and until they make restitution to the people whose LLCs have been improperly published, stay away from them!
