I responded to the ad posted in craigslist by Bill Gate. The ad was vague on the duties but promised a salary of $1200 a month. Since I recently lost my job, I responded. My duties were to print off business checks and mail them out via fedex to different people. The lists I was given varied from 20 to 60 people a day and most of them got a check for the same amount everyday.
Then on monday, Bill Gate asked me to write a check for $900, deposit the check to my bank, keep $200 and wire the remaining $700 to a person in Nigeria. I deposited the check.
My friend started communicating with a man about a similar job. But she researched and found it was most likely a scam. So we are reporting them now.
