Cox is apparently notoriously bad like most companies are now, about getting their billing information down correctly. They deliberately mess it up, so they can charge late fees, as opposed to letting you know their system rejected payment, and then too add insult to injury they-
1) Don't have a local, or toll-free number
2) Put you on hold for an hour
3) Charge you an extra $10 to pay your bill.
Now you know why businesses are reporting record profits, and the middle class is losing traction.'Free market' would argue that if you don't like it, 'vote with your feet' but like many others, that simply not an option as they are the only broadband carrier in my area. Filing a complaint with the FCC as well, recommend if you have problems with Cox, or any other ISP, you do the same-
