Eyond horrible service

On 6/7 my service was suspended due to unpayment, my error. I called and was told that there was a request to have the meter taken, I told them that it was not me that made the request, and I did not want the meter taken. On 6/8 I called and paid $208, $100 reconnect, and $45 for same day service. Not only did my service not get restored but they came and took my meter. When I asked the person who they claimed made the request for them to come get the meter he says he did not even have to verify the information. He read the name and address off the bill and when asked to verify my phone number he said he didn’t know and they proceeded to change the number to the one he given them. So, how is it someone who is not on my account and cannot even correctly verify information correctly make such a request on my account. So many red flags should have been raised, first he could not verify the information, second I called right after him at 5:36pm and told them (after I was told what was said), that no I did not want the meter taken, so if that wasn’t enough, shouldn’t the fact that I paid 208 to have my service restored someday, raised some sort of question as to why the meter was getting taken? Where was the order to restore my services? Surely there is one. I am outraged, I called and spoke to a manager on 6/8, I was told he was going to have to go back and listen to all the recordings from 6/7 to make sure that was in fact what was said, I was told he would call me back, I was never called back, when I tried to call again, I got a recording stating that yall were closed till Monday and my account bal. Was -$57. So evidently the solution was to hurry and refund me the $45 and never return my call? I gave 2 call back numbers, neither one of them rang or showed missed calls. I have 2 young children, I have a gas stove and gas water heater. Now, because of error on your part I am unable to cook or have hot water until Monday when someone gets back? I am a manager at a pharmacy, I know what it’s like dealing with people, and dealing with complaints, so normally I try not to complain because I understand, but this situation is unreal. Never would I treat a customer the way I have been treated, I would never not return their call when I knew that there was the slightest possibility that an error of one of my employee caused them any inconveniences. I am very inconvenienced, I cannot cook, etc. I was ignored when I asked for answers. I would like a call back from someone to discuss this. I also think that I am at least entitled to a refund of my $100 reconnect fee to my bank account if nothing else. I am to the point where if this is the kind of service your company gives and how much you care about your customers I will go by an electric stove. There is so much wrong with this situation, and instead of answers I get hostile accusations. Please Call me Back if you are unable to help me, I would at least like copies of these recordings, because I know what I said and I’m outraged that I was ignored and not given the time of day. I am disappointed that evidently your workers are more worried about getting off on time, then fixing their mistake that leaves a family with no way to cook and no hot water. I have never seen such unprofessionalism, even from your manager.
