Sean Holloman, a music teacher at the Aria School of Music and Art, was arrested Tuesday in Carson City on suspicion of statutory sexual seduction and sexual acts in public with a 15-year-old girl. He was released on bail Wednesday. Obviously, its a relationship forbidden both by parent and by law, Furlong said.
Holloman, 28, and the girl were found in a publicly shared yard a block from the Carson City Sheriffs Office, KRNV Channel 4 reported, citing information from the Carson City Sheriffs Office.
It was definitely a wanton effort, Furlong said. Youre talking about an open area where people can see them.
Two Carson City Sheriff's deputies were dispatched at around 3 P.M. Tuesday afternoon to an area near the 1000 block of East Second Street to answer a report of a male and a female having sexual intercourse on a section of communal lawn behind an apartment building. Officers discovered the couple mid-coitus and broke them up; Holloman is alleged to have had his shirt off and pants undone while the female was allegedly entirely nude.
Initially the female claimed to be 16 years of age; further investigation led the officers to discover her age was actually 15 and that she will not be 16 until the end of the year. Upon discovering this Holloman was arrested for statutory sexual seduction.
Holloman is a music teacher at the Aria School of Music and Art in Reno, owned and operated by his mother Julie Holloman.
