My son and his girlfriend answered an add for Tea Cup Yorkie Puppy. All corresponding was done by email ([email protected] / advertised on hoobly.com). He asked numerous questions qualifying my son. I got involved and advised I would pay at beginning of June. I was asked to pay a lady that handles his money transactions (Terrie M. Rasmussen / MD). Prior to this I asked Martin to call me numerous times but he could never seem to find time. He texted me and still is on a regular basis. Back up a step and the add was Atlanta; stated his wife had cancer and they moved to Michigan for her care. He is in Sparta Michigan (616) 238-0567. He stated that the courier service needed an extra 550 to send puppy due to fee. Puppy was supposedly at courier service and they were holding puppy for delivery to Harts-field Airport, Atlanta.
At this point I became Suspicious and asked for courier service. He told me to email the service and provided a false address (pet. Courierserviceibellair.net). I didn't pay another contact person he said was courier service rep located in Wisconsin. So as of last night he is still contacting me and complaining about not taking puppy but states is willing to return monies. The catch is he doesn't have money and it will take time. I have been scammed. Throughout conversation i advised he was scamming me and I was going to FBI with information. He kept scam live by saying he is family man and wouldn't scam me. The first airport he stated the puppy was located was an airport that had been closed and runway grown over. I contacted the owner of this airport.
Here is the catch I thought I vetted as well; we signed Memorandum of Understanding (I made changes and he agreed to them and re wrote agreement) which included an his address. I had him provide contact person that he last shipped too. I called him and he stated he received puppy without issue. Obviously he was involved in scam (513) 454-8544 JOSEPH ROBERTS)
I contacted the only Angelina Vilchez in that area and it was not his wife. I could not find a Martin Vilchez. He sent pictures to me of "Rosie" which did not match the add picture.
