I was so excited to try the new Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey cookies... Anxiously awaited their arrival for a few weeks, and upon purchasing them, I was very disappointed with the results. The picture on the outside of the red package reveals a cookie oozing with chocolate fudge - my first bite was anything but this. The cookie was soft - but that is where the excitement ended - the "gooey" portion of the cookie (in the middle) wasn't soft, rather, it felt as if the fudge was melted, then hardened again. I was shocked. Each cookie was exactly the same - not gooey, but tough chocolate inside the cookie itself. I even tried to microwave the cookie to see if the "gooey" part would come true, and it still wasn't as the picture on the package looked. False advertising and a very anticipated product gone by the wayside. These cookies are not "gooey" and they are not at all what the picture on the outside of the package describes.
