Cookie were really old

I love chips ahoy i bought some cookie to pass out on Halloween i came hoe to bag them up and i open the pack and they cookie was like old it had a expiration date from about 2 months ago i love chips ahoy cookie but this was the first time this happened to me. What should i do. Plz right back
