I received an e-mail from Jane Jackson requesting that I complete a survey for the position of Customer Service Rep. After I completed the survey I was sent to a Credit Check website where I had to apply and receive my credit report. It was supposed to be free but when you finished you had to take a trial period for credit monitoring. If you canceled within 9 days you would not be charged. I called the Credit Check number and cancelled the Credit Check. It was like "pulling teeth" to get the representative to terminate my Credit Check Monitoring. Little did I know that I had already been charged the first month's payment of $36,00.
I now have to call the credit check company again to fight for my refund and no further charges.
