Wells Fargo decided to end the banking relationship and freeze my account after i had a Point of sale in Nevada and an ATM in Utah on the same day. They did this without any notification and denied me access to my funds in which i still haven't received. They're reasoning was a overdraft for 82 cents 9 months ago. After being denied a charge at McDonald's, i called the bank and was then told my account was froze by loss prevention for fraud, in which I argued and that I didn't believe that using my own money on my own card through my own account for legal purchases was fraud. After a few more choice words they told me that there was nothing i could do and they ended the call after telling me "we are not paid enough to deal with you, sir."
I am still fighting for my own money earned through my legal employment and now three weeks later still no further then i was the day they froze the account. I am amazed that they can hold a customers property hostage and deny true customer service. On a good note, I now use a credit union and I hope credit unions get a lot of former bank customers like myself. Hopefully this sends a ruin to the banking business as we know it.
