I received an offer in the mail that claimed I was eligible to receive 2 "FREE" rings, a free jewelry tote and a jewelry cleaning kit. The offer was addressed "Dear Friend" and the signature was a Leigh Sherwood, Designer. I called the 1-800-398-3115 phone number and chose my two rings. I was told that the total charge to my credit card would be $7.88, to cover shipping and handling, plus applicable sales tax. I was charged $50.98! My financial institution assisted me in filing a Fraud Claim against Holsted, and I was able to have the charge reversed.
I went so far as to look at their web-site. It seems that all they actually sell, is over priced costume jewelry, earrings only! I know others have been scammed by this despicable Co. I am also going to report them to the Better Business Burrough.
