I saw Lara when I was a teenager, she turned our entire family upside down. My mother suggested I see her because my grandmother, whom I was very close with passed away, and I was in complete mourning. Lara told my mother that she suspected that I was drinking and doing drugs. My mother and father believed Lara at the time. They took my car, grounded me, took away my phone, everythng. And to make it worse, Lara suggested I see a phychiatrist b/c she thought I was Bi-polar. My parents and I had a great relationship before my first visit with Lara.
Lara weaved so many lies about me that it threw our family into chaos. My mom and I started fighting, and my dad stopped trusting me. Looking back it was the most vindictive, hostile, evil, manipulative action our family ever faced. I saw Lara three times and our family was put through hell. After Lara suggested that the whole family was in need of therapy because we were dysfunctional, my dad had enough. He figured out the root of the cause for all of the chaos was Lara. My parents realized I was not on drugs and not drinking, and realized she made it up for the money, so I would continue seeing her, and would make more money if we all went to her. My family and I are closer for it, but, at the time it was chaos created out of nothing but lies.
Lara needs serious help for herself. She is a fraud, and should not be in parctice.
