I saw an add on the internet for a risk free trial for a bellabrite kit, just pay 1.00 for shipping and handling. Within a few days I received the kit with a three day supply included. There was not a packing slip included to state what should be included or a receipt for my payment.
I was checking my charges on my debit card and noticed another 3.95 charge for shipping and handling. I let that go and did not bother to call to rebut the charges.
I am a single unemployed mother desperately seeking a job. I have been struggling to pay my bills and my car has been repossessed. I had heard of BellaBrite before and looked online to see where to buy it and saw that you could buy it at Wal-Mart, Walgreens and etc for about 35.00. So, when I saw the offer for the FREE TRIAL KIT FOR 1.00, I jumped at the offer.in this economy you need to stand out and make a good first impression. There is a lot of competition and I feel presentation is very important. I purchased this product to improve my chances for employment.
At 5 am this morning I remembered that I needed to pay the 2nd part of my electric bill that I had promised to pay on the 10th. I checked my balance on my unemployment debit card and saw the 78.00 charge from BellaBrite. I was devastated! I did not have enough money to pay my electric bill and there was a disconnect order for the 11th if not paid by the 10th.
I had not had time to use the kit so it had not been opened. I called their 24/7 customer service number and it took five minutes for me to understand what her name was, her accent was very heavy. I explained to her my situation and told her I was desperate. Jade kept repeating a scripted role, should had read terms and conditions, it is to late to return your product, no further charges will be applied to your account and there were no options for me to return the product and have my account credited. I asked to speak with supervisor and she stated to call after 8:00 am. It is 6:00 am and I have not been to bed yet. I had already been dealing with two other major issues in my life on this day. I wonder how much I can take before I break?
OK, now I have had a few hours sleep and I am going to calli BellaBrite again to speak with a supervisor. Wish me luck! Do not purchase anything from bellabrite, it is a scam and they rob from the poor people. SHAME ON THEM! Please note in their terms and conditions it is stated in the next to the last paragraph under the heading PURCHASING FROM THE HOME PAGE, You are only receiving free shipment, you are getting the kit with a % off. Returns are only accepted in unopened box, or you will have to pay for damage and repacking and are only accepted within 30 days of that shipment of the initial shipping date. This verbiage should be against the law! The date on my package does not reflect their initial shipping date and my debit card was charged on 5/5 a 78.41 charge
I did not receive free shipment and did not receive free trial kit as indicated on their home page. Nowhere is it posted on their home page that you are only receiving free shipment which is not TRUE.
Please help me and others like me to stop these criminals! People speak up, stand up for your rights and do no let these evil misleading ads rob you. Never ever give your card number to these hard to believe ads, go to wal-mart it is a lot cheaper.
My electric bill status is still pending and I am doing everything I can to keep it on.
