Received an email from [email protected] (third party) and there was a toll free number to sell stuff on ebay. (online store) I called the number, and they explained it to me. Sounded good, for only 6.95.. Shoulda known. My card was declined, so I said I would call back.
Then fiance called and said 149.00 was gone from the account, which overdrew it, and it was suntasia marketing. I called the number again. No answer. Used the *67 feature and called back. Aha! Caller id in force! The man there said to call customer service, which the number was given to me by the first man. I called customer service, and the man there acted like he never heard of it, but he almost agreed with me, and caught himself when I mentioned the other number. I called my bank and had a block put on my account, and will have to open a new one. I want restitution for whatever I can get.
