Mystery Shoppers - Linda Thompson - Stanley Peterson - Morgan Finley
Consumer Report

Eceived a letter in the mail with a fake cheque for almost $4000.00, telling me iv'e been selected to participate in a paid consumer research program. I was to go to wal-mart, K-mart, Home depot, sears, JCpenny or best buy. I was to wait till the cheque cleared and start my training. Iwas to go to walmart which I chose and spend $100.00 and get help for what i wanted to buy and she how well informed they were about the product, I would get to keep the product. The next was to send two moneygrams to to differant people an d phone a Linda thompson back with the rep id.#, I was to let her know by faxing in the receipts. If I did all that they asked and was to be paid $450.00 for the job. Linda Thompson. Or Stanley Peterson ph, 1-514-572-1336 or fax 1-734-758-7809.

I had contacted Linda at the telephone number above, she asked for a rep id# i told her i wanted to know why they were sending me fake cheques from a company that i had contacted to notify before hand of the fake cheque. Linda hung up the phone. I have tried calling her back several times to get an explanation why they are sending me these fake cheques and how did they get my personal infromation and the fake cheque that does not belong to them to begin with? I then contacted Morgan Finley. Some other guy answered saying that Morgan is not available. So i had askied him the same thing i was going to ask Linda about how they got my personal information? Why are they sending me fake cheques to cash that do not belong to them with registered company names. Logos. Real bank address, account number. Etc. It does actually look like a legit cheque from the company i would say. But I have reason to that believe the people that are involved in this mystery shopper scam are the same people that are using internet classified website such as kijiji.ca to send fake paypal and shipping invoices for the sum of $1200. I was almost a victom of that scam and now they are sending me fake cheques thinking that I am stupid enough to actually go and cash it because they have previously failed to collect $1200 USD from my paypal account. Something really needs to be done about this group in idiots because i do not appreciate receiving fake cheques, or any one using my name and or address to conduct fraudulent activities for that matter. I am very upset and if the person who operates this scam ever reads this post. I know that you work for a moving company by searching your telephone number 226-345-0121 that is posted all over search engines. Your not the sharpest tools in the shed. I would have to say. Im insulted by the childish ways they both kept hanging up the phone because they both knew that they are in the wrong...
