Refunded from paypal and the cased has been closed in my favor!
Paypal is now investigating this end user!
I ordered a pair of peep toe pumps for my wedding from an actual creditible online shoe store. When I received them, they were too big - I had ordered the wrong size. I was on the hunt on other shoe stores online for my correct size because the store I originally ordered from was sold out of my size. I found Rios-shoes and the peep toe pumps in my size so I didn't think twice about ordering them. They seemed like a credible website being from the UK with the Paypal and Visa logo's added to the bottom of their webpage. I made the purchase through paypal and when I emailed Rios-shoes a couple of weeks later to find out when I would receive my shoes, I did not get a response. A couple of days later, I received a mail delivery slip and went to the post office to retrieve what I thought were my shoes. It turned out to be a 3" x 6" envelope with my name, address and telephone number addressed on the envelope originating from an address in Singapore. Not only did I have to sign for this envelope but when I opened it, there was a worthless peice of felt bracelet contained in a plastic wrapper which read "BUGS LOCK - DEET FREE/NON-TOXIC" and a bunch of words written in asian characters on it. I filed a dispute with paypal immediately which was then escalated to a claim. I was informed the seller had until a certain date to respond, which they did not. I also filed a separate claim with my credit card company, in which they refunded me the money until paypal would be doing so. I received an email from paypal today informing me to send the item back to the seller and to provide a tracking number. I knew from reading other complaints on here that it would cost me more money to send back the item to CHINA with a tracking number so I called paypal and directly spoke to a representative explaining the situation. Paypal has now refunded me my money, has closed my claim against Rios-shoes and is investigating them for. My advice is to take the neccessary steps that I have taken, in order to get your money back.
