I hired this contractor for repairs to my house. HE WAS given a deposit by check by me for $5,000. This was approx about the week befoe new years. He then let me know he was going on vacation. When he returned, he put the various cabinets and kitchen appliances in the right places, after finishing the floor in the dining room which was left with 1/3 rd of wood pieces to be puy together. He also had the kitchen done as well. The plumber came and had previosly hooked up a washer and dryer in the basement and hooed up the range, plumbing for a disposal and dishwasher. The bontractor took thr tile out of the bathroom and installed a tub. The plumber came and hooked up the plumbing for the shower and tub, toilet and vanity with sink. The bathroom was appropriately tiled except a part eding the right side of the window. I had paid the contractor $2,500 for the start of repairs and also paid the plumber beforehand for the washer dryer dish, etc he had done before and also wrote him another check for the bathroom plumbing. The contractor has a sum of $17,200 to finish rhe work he started, trim out the kitchen, secure lower cabinetry and countertop frame and window and exterior door, paint as necessary etc. He said it would be about 2 days work to complete. He won't answer phone calls or respond to my messages. It has been i believe since the end of March that there has been no sign
