Forgot the weed control

I hired Southscape in April to take over my lawn maintenance (weed/feed, aeration/seeding) for the year. The lawn was in good shape and wanted to keep it that way. I mentioned to the representative that the last company servicing the lawn had just done a weed treatment, so we agreed that they shouldn't do one right away to avoid burning it out. The rep wrote up the contract wrong and set up a fertilizer only program for my lawn. Being a new customer, I was not familiar with what they called their different maintenance packages, so I was none the wiser. I paid them $600, which is considerably higher than other companies, but I wanted to have some good quality lawn care. I went to Europe for the summer and came back to find my entire lawn was all weeds. To make matters worse, they were fertilizing the weeds. The rep apologized after the mistake was realized, but by that time my lawn was gone. Given the heat of the summer, there was nothing that could be done. Southscape told me to wait until they could re-seed in the fall and then it would get back to being grass. They came out in the fall and planted about 1/3 of the lawn with something other than grass seed. It was easy to see as it was just the same size as the seed spreader in strips all over the lawn. They apologized and began weed treatments to try and correct as well as some new seeding. It has been a constant struggle to try and get them to correct this and today they called me and told me they wanted to charge me for the extra weed treatments they have been applying to correct my grass (yes, from the mistake they made). I couldn't believe it and ended up talking with the operations manager. He said he would come out a few hours later and take a look at the situation and see what he could do.instead about 30 minutes later I am startled by a guy standing in my backyard looking through my window and taking pictures. I ask him what he is doing and who he is and he relunctantly tells me he is from Southscape (not the operations manager). Then he goes on to rather abusively tell me that I signed a contract for fertilizer only and I got what I paid for... It is my problem. Southscape has refused to either correct the lawn or refund any of my payment.
