I went to the first interview, where I recieved a headache from the freaking rap music, then I got selected for the second interview, and sat through two hours, of the foulest mouthed califronia prick of a manager and his loud mouthed assistant, talking about how they make all this money from fake perfumes and how we would all be promoted to our own offices and heres the kicker:
1. We wern't given the option to travel. We were told that we needed to pick three avaliable cities and move there, where moving expenses would be covered only half by Larry Hahn, which means if I needed to move to Honolulu, Hawaii, I would have to pay for my 10 month old son and myself to honolulu with no money from them, period.
When Steve, at the end of the oppturnity speil, asked me how I felt, I was polite enough to tell him the truth, and that was simply that I could not afford 60-90s of straight commission, that I as a single mom who had to support her son, I needed something more. He glared at me, told me that he knew of women in my position that made money in their first week.
I again politly told him that I understood that, but that I can't risk not having a salary pay, and again thanked for his time. He glared at me, and as I walked out the door and wished him luck, he got snide with me, saying he was guided by a force stronger then luck, glaring at me as I walked out the door.
I don't freaking appreciate being berated and snapped at when I tell you No, if you were making so much money, than why the hell was he getting snappy?
Im glad I walked away, I will OWN MY OWN BUSINESS SOMEDAY, but it will be on my terms, not on someone elses. So for those of you living Colorado Springs, be careful when you hear of Scion, Scentura Creations or see ads for 20 guys and gals.
