How can a person properly back up to a loading dock at a customer and use a spotter not because he need one just because he was there and cause damage to a building? What is one of the proposes of a loading dock? To stop a truck... So it does not damage a building... I backed up to a dock 7 months ago because the wall around the dock wasin very bad shape...
It was defective and it pushed in... So they are saying when i back up to a dock i can not touch the seal pads around the dock because it may damage the building... That would mean you should stop about 2 feet before the dock... Because if you touch a customer dock, they can claim you damage it?
If a loading dock is made properly and maintained properly the dock should stop a truck and the building should not be hurt... Safety told me the drive is responsible... The said the customer is always right and the driver is always wrong All any person has to do is go look at this building and they will see damage all around the building not just the loading dock...
That is how bad of shape that building is I thought loading docks were made for trailer to back into and the customer was responsible for proper maintenance and condition of the loading dock... Yes i do have pictures proving it was not my fault I was put on a 6 month for something that was not my fault after 7 month I had a $0 cost accident at a customer " I have witness and pictures proving there was no damage when i left the Customer they used the loading dock as the mean reason for firing me... If there is anyone that know a good lawyer please tell me
