Same thing happened to me as to this lady who wrote the following. You get a free ring coupon from another company that said they want to "thank-you" for being such a good customer. You call for the free ring because you think you are getting a free gift from the other company as a perk and you do not suspect it is a scam. They fail to tell you that you sign up for a monthly program that automatically bills your visa for unwanted & not ordered items. You can't dispute that you were not told, because they said you were! You go on line to find that 1000's of THE EXACT story happened to others. This company needs to be investigated for deception. Can sooooo many people have the same "mis-understanding" that they apologize for when you call them?! They make you send back the NOT ordered items at your expense and it takes about a month to get it off your bill. That is, IF they say they received the return. Who's to say they did? You have the additional expense of the return receipt! (I called after receiving not ordered items this week. I made it clear I do not want anything from this company. Do not send me anymore! And take me off their mailing list. My checking account was charged 56.98, which they say will be refunded when they receive the package back, which I paid postage for... Their automatic charge to my account, has now screwed up my account and I have a overdraw balance! Holsted Jewelers can take their products and shove them where the sun don't shine!)
