I live in a state with no sales tax, yet I was charged by ZQuiet to my credit card $6.12 for sales tax! About two days later after placing the order, I received a phone call from a young male thanking me for the order and wanting me to buy additional items/coupons for free gas, etc. I said NO! I only wanted the ZQuiet snore device. I told the guy I was charged sales tax. He told me he had nothing to do with sales but gave me the customer service dept phone number, which no one answered!
Two weeks later, my credit card company called me to inform me that It looked liked my card had an unauthorized charge for $74.79. I denied that charge. The card relp suggested I immeditely cancel my card, which I did, and a new card would be sent in 7-10 days... Such inconvenience!
Maybe it is a coincidence, but I had this strange feeling the young man who tried to sell me more items representing ZQiet was somehow connected to my identity card number theft!
Be warned when you order onlive from ZQuiet they will try to get as much money from you as they can through clever billing practices that they know will triumph over the customer... And who knows if any of the "sales people" will sell your credit card number to someone else in the world!
