Roommate received a letter today with a check for $3,980.00 drawn from LaSalle Bank of Chicago, IL. Letter refers to a Mega Jackpot lotto with winning sum of $150K U.S. Claim Agent Michael Dundas 1-289-892-0011. Another phone number to add to the list. The letter was printed on plain white paper, not letterhead. The word CONFIDENTIAL was another sign that this was a scam.
