When ordering, on 04/19, the transaction was summited before I had a chance to review and approve it. When I realized they were going to charge me many times what I expected, I tried to cancel the order, but the site does not allow it.
I called the costumer service number (talked with a rep by the name Michelle) and was told the order would take up to two hours to show up in their system. I was also told to check www.customestatus.com. When I did it, the info did not show up.
I called again, and was told it could take from four to 24 hours. I called the following day (yesterday), and was told it was still not showing up. I was told again to check the site, to no avail.
Today, I checked the site again, hoping to be able to cancel the order. No such luck. They do not work weekends.
Even though the site they will not charge the card until the merchandise is shipped, the sent the authorization request immediately after the order was allegedly placed so, now even if I already canceled the card, the charge has been authorized.
Already talked to the Fraud Department of my bank and I hope they can do something about it. Other than that, I will start a Facebook campaign, if necessary and will at least attempt to take them to court!
