Elite Destinations (BQ Associates Inc.)
Consumer Report

While vacationing in Las Vegas Oct. we signed a membership with Elite Destinations and paid $3,644 USD. Upon our return home, we immediately made numerous phone calls with queries about our membership. We even left voice mail messages with no return calls. We then started sending emails Oct. 23rd and not until Nov. 1st did we actually have a phone conversation with a person named "Rick" and discovered then that we received a lot of misleading information at the presentation, because the prices we were receiving were much higher than what we were led to believe. We did express to the sales rep at the presentation that our typical vacation was a 2 week all inclusive February stay in DRepublic for $2,600 for two of us, which included flights. When speaking to Rick, we realized that Elite could not get us a vacation at the same or better price. At the presentation, we were promised a 20 to 70% saving. Obviously we then needed to cancel our membership and request a refund, based on misleading information and poor customer service. All the program materials were returned as requested via express post for $25. On Nov. 6/10, Rob Leon finally responded to our refund requests saying ""Hello Cindy and Walt, Apologize for the delay as I was out of the office. I have forwarded your emails to Virginia Boatright who is in charge of the Customer Service and Quality Assurance Department. I am positive she will be able to assist you. Regards, Rob Leon / Elite Destinations, Office: 800-521-0980 Ext. 7023, Fax: 866-936-3320, Email: [email protected]"". After numerous follow-up phone calls with Virginia Boatright, suddenly she didn't work there anymore. We also spoke to someone by the name of "Dano" and "Tess". We have been trying for a year now, even trying to reach the California office, and we still do not have our refund. We were in LV last week (Oct. 2011) and went to the 2780 Las Vegas Blvd. (default - $21,000 rent) as well as 3571 Red Rock Street, and both are closed. Will you help us. We want our money back... Retired and on a fixed income!!! This is robbery! Mr. Rob leon appears to be the person in charge here. First elite destinations... Then all of a sudden he's operating under bq associates. Can someone not help us get our money back here. We've been trying for over a year now and we can certainly use this money which is rightfully ours!!!
