Jortelshopping.com advertises iPads and other high tech products at ridiculous prices. They show an address in Van Nuys, Ca. And locations in Malaysia.
Their website was created in 02.
I contacted them by email and asked them for a tel# in Van Nuys, CA for customer service. Also asked if the iPad 2 was new, used or refurbished. Also, inquired about payment options and warranties. This is their response;
"The item is brand new unlocked, never opened still in factory sealed box with all accessories and it also comes with a year international warranty.
Actually, our Van Nuys store is currently not functioning, So all transactions with the store is done from our Malaysia branch. And for payments of order it is via western union."
The key word of course is Western Union.
I figured from the get-go that this was a scam, however, when I searched for it on the Internet I did't find anything on jortelshopping.com
So, beware, do NOT buy from JORTELSHOPPING.com
