I bought a toshiba laptop 10 at office max in memphis, tn. The end of last month i sent it in under warranty because it would not stay on. When they recieved the unit they said the operating system was gone and i would have to pay them to get it put back on. I asked them how is the operating system gone and i sent it in because it would not stay on. So they so called waived the fee that they was trying to charge me and sent my unit back and said it was fixed. The same day i recieved my unit back it once again shut down on me and would not even turn back on. I sent it back to the repair people and now they are saying that it is liquid damage on the mother board. I asked them if it is liquid damage how come you all did not see it when i sent it in the first time they told me they did not open it up the first time. The laptop has never been any where near any type of liquid nor did i touch it with wet hands, i believe that it is something that happened there at the repair shop. Now they tell me that it will cost me 210.00 to replace my mother board when it is no fault of mine of the liquid damage. That it is on thier behalf of the liquid damage and then they say i can't despute it that pay the repair cost or they will send it back as they recieved it!!! They did not even fix it the first ime i sent it in and now they still won't fix it and trying to charge me once again for repairs.
