Beware of these people! We received an e-mail requesting information of a product we sell over the internet.
Edwin lommers sent us two Satellite Receivers which he wanted converted to operate on 12 Volts. (supposedly to utilize in his Humvee's). He gave us his wife's credit card information (Laila Willems) and we processed the order and sent them the merchandise.
A couple of months later, we get a chargeback from the bank stating they had no knowledge of the transaction, even though we had copies of numerous e-mails, fax's, and a UPS Delivery confirmation. Repeated telephone calls to these people and they pretend they don't know us, or they can't speak english!
We are in the process of seeking criminal prosecution of these people, not only for the sum of money involved, but also to prevent similiar action to other businesses. The banks work in their favor for obnline transactions. Without a signature on the credit Card transaction, they can literally steal their way into a fortune!
