I received a call saying that I was pre-approved for a master card or a visa. And the card was being offered because I had been pre-approved for a previous offer.

I said, if I have been pre-approved then why not send me the card. How much do I have to pay? He said you don't have to pay anything for the card it is already pre-approved.

Then I asked what's the catch. He said "nothing the card is free there are no annual fees, and no hidden costs only a one time processing fee". He also explained interest rates and cash advances and terms for as long as you keep the card.

How much do I have to pay, I asked again. "There is a one time processing fee of 129.95 he said, and you will never have to pay anything else. And you can check us out through the Better Business Bureau."

I then asked how much would I have to pay each month and how long would it take to get the card. He said at least 10% of your balance owed. And the card would be sent in a few days. It was'nt until after the recording that he said it would be 21 days before receiving the card.

The call appeared suspicious and I hesitated but the guy was extremely knowledgeable, made it sound legitimate, and he had an answer for every question.

I agreed to accept the offer if they would accept a post dated check to cover the chsrges. He then told me he would have to record the conversation while taking the information.

He then told me he would have to record the rest of the conversation and switched to a recorded message that asked certain question that needed a response. The recording was so low I could barely hear what was said.

After accepting the offer I begin thinking about the conversation and the recording. I decided to call the number that he gave me for customer service and got a recording.

After calling 3 times. I left a smart message hoping someone would be offended and return my call. But, there was no response. So then I typed in the web address that was given and it does not exist but directed me here.
