I received a letter with a check for $977.75 from a woman named Lisa Procter. She stated she was from GREENDOT Cash Allotment Systems (does not exist) and that I have been chosen to receive a grant from McDonalds French Fry Trust in the total amount of $10,000. If I cashed the check then I would have to send a 5% commission of $500 via a Green Dot MoneyPak. Well, I decided this was to good to be true nd looked up her name, and low and behold there she was... With SCAM next to her name. I am glad I did not fall for this, but I hope they catch her. People all over the world have fallen on hard times financially and I really could have used the money.
