I purchased hair extensions for my daughter for Christmas on 12/13 (49.99 shipping). The price was advertised as a timed sale and would expire if not purchased before midnight. My daughter was adamant about them so I went ahead and ordered. Shipping was promised within 7-10 days. I did not receive anything until 17 days later, after my daughter had left. When she returned in Feb. She opened the package and found the company sent the wrong item/wrong color. I contacted them via email and through paypal right away and asked for a refund because we did not want to wait another 3wks. When paypal first contacted them, they offered me $10 and asked me to drop my dispute. I told them no and so they asked if I would send them back for exchange or refund and again to please drop the dispute. Unfortunately because I opened the dispute after the 45 day time limit, paypal said they could not pursue it. I told them that I did not want to send the item back first without a pre-paid postage envelope or a refund. They asked me to send them pictures of the merchandise so I did. They insisted the cost of shipping would not be much and they would refund me the postage and the cost of the extensions once they received them. I finally agreed but instead of using USPS, I used FedEx ($64.86) b/c I wanted to track the package. It would have cost me $38 if I would have shipped using USPS. I told them I understood the price difference since they asked me to use USPS and that I was willing to take the lesser amount. They argued that it would not have cost me more than $4 to ship the item back even though I told them it was more expensive to ship to China than it was for them to send to the US. Stupidly I sent them screenshots of the price list and they replied with, we can only reimburse you for the cost of the extensions. Hope you understand. Have a nice day! I have tried multiple times to call the number on their site and no one ever answers or calls me back. There is an automated voicemail that picks up. The phone number they gave me when I shipped the items back to them was bogus. I am now out $124.85 and definitely feel like an idiot for even paying that much to send back. I just wanted to do the "right thing" and send back their merchandise. I was not worried about the cost of postage because they told me in multiple emails they would reimburse for it. Even to this day, I am still going back and forth with them on emails discussing the refund that I have yet to receive.
