Horrible expedia flight experience - air tickets

Worst customer service ever. Horrible supervisors with attitudes. I wasted over $2,000 because of some stupid expedia representative sent me a confirmation on my returning flight, that had been cancelled which i didn't find out until i was at the airport and had to purchase a new one way ticket for $842.10, for the same exact flight i was supposed to be on (double the amount for a round trip i purchased before). Then expedia claimed to have no responsibility, when i called the day before to confirm my returning flight and even received a confirmation email?!?! Does that make any sense. Then after i call to file complaint and refund and i was told they would document this case properly and gave me a reference number, none of it was solved even after 4 days of calling back. And the answer i was given to by a rude expedia supervisor was "sorry you are not going to get any refund because it was your responsibility to check in with us whether it was canceled or not. This is not our fault, it's continental's policy to cancel the round trip ticket if you don't show for the departure part so we didn't know they canceled it. That's why we sent you a confirmation email." expedia is the worst company ever. Horrible, they gave me such an attitude. Don't ever use expedia!!!
