Signed up for 3 day trial failed to read the fine print that they will charged me $99.00 every 45 days after that. Ok they got me, they also say you can only cancel the service via Email. My computer couldn't hook with the link they gave me to cancle the service, because for some reason it couldn't install outlook 2003. So I called mateout.com customer service number. They said "I was stuck eat the initial $99.00 charge but they will CANCLE the renewing membership. So I still had the 45 days to use the sight, since I already paid for it."
(I never did use the sight due to the fact it wasn't that good to begin with, and I got better results on the free sight POF).
However 47 days later I was once again charged $99.00 for a subscription service I do not want or use!
I just realized my big mistake was failing to tell them to send me a confirmation Email that told me my account would not be renewed. Without it the operator on the phone can deny any such verbal agreement was made. I have a bad feeling that the only way out of this is to cancel my credit card and ask my credit union for a new one.
