BUYERS BEWARE: This is not about money but a principal that business should not use fraudulent claim to lure people into their site.
My husband went shopping at the Discovery channel online store for some shirts, they have a 25% off coupon code on their OWN website. Tried using it, didn't work. I called customer service, got an apology and excuses such as the coupon code expired and they havent had a chance to remove it. This was 2 days ago. Today, I checked, stupid code was still up there.
I got this email from them after emailing their customer service "Thank you for your email. We are sorry to inform you that our sale prices and promotional offers are subject to change or end at any time, without notice. To receive upcoming promotional offers via email, please feel free to register with our online store for our electronic newsletter. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you."
