I went in on a usual DOT physical. But it was my first time at coastal urgent care. They never checked me for hurnia or stomach inflation, neck size, reflects etc. Never was seen by a doctor. I was given a whisper test and everyone has a different version of a whisper yet the nurse said I failed it and immediatly proceeded to give me a audio test and when i was done i was told i had failed the whisper test and had to pay for the audio one in order to get my dot long form which is a must on the big rigs. Now when a patient isnt told before they do this procedure and then later tells pateint they have to pay extra $25 for it to pass this seems to me like a clinic that bought a machine and they want it paid for now. We paid but feel we were wrongly done by not being informed before the test was done that there was a charge..
