I was contacted by a gentleman named Calvin Jonhnson who claimed to work for the company in question. As I had recently been applying for a personal loan.
Mr Johnson went on to explain who he allegedly worked for and the amount of money that I had been preapproved for. He e-mailed me the required forms to fill out and send back. He then went further to explain that I needed to obtain loan insurance in order to obtain this loan. I spoke to Mr. Johnson on several occasions, eventually sending the amount of money that would secure the loan insurance and subsequently the loan.
I then spoke again to mr. Johnson who then informed me that since I was a high risk for the loan, I would need to send additional monies in order to obtain high risk loan insurance. He then stated that I needed to send an additional 300 dollars. It was at this point that I realized I had been scammed and requested that my money be returned to me ASAP.
Of course I have not heard from Mr Johnson again, despite numerous calls to him.
Beware of mr. Johnson and sterling lending group
