I order a "free" trial sample jar of VitaDerm, advertised on the internet, on January 26. My only obligation was a $2.97 shipping fee, which I charged to my credit card. The sample arrived within a couple weeks and I tried the product. My credit card statement arrived yesterday and, to my surprise and dismay, I was charged $82.96!! I contacted my credit card company, who initiated a conference call to the VitaDerm company. After being on hold about 30 minutes or longer, I was told by the VitaDerm rep that a credit of $39.99 would be applied to my credit card. I said I would just return the sample; she said she could not accept that, and questioned whether I had read the "Terms and Conditions", supposedly offered in a link on the screen from which I initially placed the order. There was NO link that I saw or was made aware of. The VitaDerm rep also said that there was an 18-day trial period, commencing from the date of the order, after which the product was no longer a "free trial sample" but full price would apply. WHAT A SCAM!!! Obviously, none of this information was displayed on the order screen. Please add my name to your list of complainants against VitaDerm. I would like a full refund. Thank you.
