Received email from Capitalone. Bank saying an unauthorized purchase was made to my credit card - I clicked on the link, filled out personal information, contacted Capital One only to discover the link I clicked on, authorized a transfer from my credit card to Western Union. I was scammed by an official - looking email and when trying to correct it, erroneously authorized a transfer without my knowledge. Capital One told me the link was not from them and they cancelled my card. I contacted Western Union to stop the payment. BUT - I have already given out all types of personal information to these email scammers.
