Do not trust Angel Manuel and Scott Harden. They have an events and bartending company called Cold Pear. They organized a 2011 New Year’s Eve party at the Vault in downtown LA. Angel hired me to promote his event and organize a street team. We had a contract. He would confirm every time that a certain amount of people would be sent out to promote. I have text messages stating the running tab for how much he owed for the street team promotions. The day of the event, I even came and helped organize the night. It was chaos because he didn’t even have the guest list prepared for the VIP host. The table seating was not set out. Angel came hours late to the party. The waitresses ended up quitting in the middle of the night because it was so unorganized. The party was a mess and not many people attended. They didn’t even pay all the waitresses for the work they did. Angel said that he would pay me, but he kept dodging me. I even did the paper work to take him to small claims court. I had the Sherriff serve him the court papers, but he was hiding out so they never found him. He’s been hiding every since. It’s been almost a year and he has not contacted me or paid me for the work I did. Angel Manuel, Scott Harden and Cold Pear are not to be trusted. They do not organize successful parties and they are scam artist.
