I was searching for Disney World tickets and a friend of mine told me to try craiglists because she had bought some from there months earlier.
After going through and contacting several sellers I found one that had exactly what I needed at a fair price. I was very leary of the sale because you hear of all the scams taht take place so I made several contacts with the guy before buying. I communicated with him by email, phone and texting.
I didn't want to use my bank account and he didn't want to use paypal (suposedly due to all the fees they charge) being an ebay seller that sounded logical to me because i hate the fees you have to pay to list and sell on ebay. So I used a green dot money card. The agreement was pay part upfront and the second part when there was confirmation that the package had been sent. He gave me a USPS tracking number and I gave him the info to get the down payment from the first money card. I checked the validity of the tracking number and the USPS told me it was a valid tracking number so I contacted the seller and gave him the info for the second part of the fees. I also paid 12.95 extra for overnight express delivery. Needless to say it is the 25 of Feb. And no ticktes and no $. My last communication with him was on Feb. 17th when he contacted me after many texts telling me that he sent the tickets and wanted to know if I had ever gotten them. When I called the psot office back to track them they then informed me that the tracking number was not a valid number.
I have texted him every day since asking for my $ back and have gotten no response.
