After much pressure and coaching I joined this organization. It mostly involved selling memberships to others, making large item purchases for a discount, and making money selling the memberships 'to build the business.' I realized quickly my small network of friends here and my family, about 5, are 400 miles away. Also, so much more time than I knew would be required to even start, attending meetings, asking strangers to let me show and pressure them about the business then ask for a credit card to charge $2300.00. Of course, some time during the 2-3 hour talk, the mention of 'no refund after 3 days' was likely said, but it's a huge amount of information to take in and I noticed online the next day, the charge was already there! That was Wed, I called my up line lady and texted her on Friday, that I would like to withdraw my membership for the reasons above. I got a call back Monday from CD, up line person, as to why I did not want to stay with it. And oh yeah, she mentioned it was passed 3 days. I honestly did not understand this until she explained it to me that a refund may not be available after 3 days. It WAS the weekend. I worked nights and she got the text on Friday. She said to call the home office and start asking and she would ask her up people what could be done to try and get me a refund of any kind.
When I called customer service, she asked me questions, then sent me a paper to fill out on why I should receive a refund. I called many more times, got a huge holds, a run around on the phone circuit then I called CD several times, texted her once or twice. She said her group was going to give their next enroll fee to me and that all agreed to this. I've not heard another word. Team National is a strange business and makes me think pyramid, for all I've ever heard about those. You have to spend a lot for TV's, mattresses, furniture, tires, etc, to go to meetings and spend hours in people houses before you 'make money'. It's the new Amway or her brother. Now at one year, no response from my yearly call about a 2300.00 CC charge. I will hopefully have it paid off interest (12.4) in a few more months.
It's all very embarrassing. Please be careful if anybody tries to come to 'talk to you about a business I'm looking at.' They only want your credit card, assume you absorb catalogs of information in an hour and take big advantage of people pleasers. (like me)
