If you are seeking information on behalf of the small Commercial Landlord, and the city is pursuing them for unpaid fees, it would be prudent of you to tell them that they should speak with an attorney who is familiar with dealing with municipalities. Going against a government entity without counsel can be verydetrimental.
Dear Mayor of Monterey Park:
This city is too greedy. This means every Landlord must pay Business License fee, and make sure is not selective prosecution.
I will call Asian and Chinese Press's attention. This is a biggest rip off of double Business fee collection. I hope your city can survive community's challenge. If this is misinterpretation of your staff so correct it. I am very sure there are groups of good people will go after this issues.
